Nine holes in Cheyenne County where the ball flies far, the sunsets last forever, and the only traffic is a tractor on the county road.

The Course
Smoky River Golf Course takes its name from the Smoky Hill River that winds through Cheyenne County. Nine holes on the high plains of eastern Colorado, where the elevation pushes 4,200 feet and the ball travels further than you’d expect.
The layout is open and forgiving off the tee, but the greens demand precision. Subtle breaks and firm surfaces make putting the real challenge. Wind is a constant companion — learn to play it and you’ll score well.
